Rita Wilson was born in October 1956 in Los Angeles, California. She made her television debut in 1972 in The Brady Bunch and went on to have parts in shows including Hawaii Five-O, M*A*S*H and Happy Days. Her film career took off with a role alongside future husband Tom Hanks in Volunteers (1985) and she’s since appeared in films including Sleepless in Seattle, Runaway Bride and That Thing You Do. Wilson also produced the huge hits My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Mamma Mia!, along with their sequels. In 2012, she released her debut album AM/FM and has since released a further five albums, including her latest, Sound Of A Woman.
