I am humbled and honored to have been chosen to have a star on Hollywood Blvd.’s Walk of Fame. I was born in Hollywood. I graduated from Hollywood High School. Hollywood Blvd. is where I saw my first movie. Walking on the boulevard I would fantasize about the artists who had their stars embedded there and the impact their films, tv shows and music had on me. “Look, there’s Lucille Ball! Carol Burnett! Katherine Hepburn!Over here! It’s George Harrison! And Paul McCartney!” Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would become part of this rich history. My parents would have been so proud that their first generation child has joined the artists who they also loved. Through the films I have been so fortunate to have produced and to have acted in, I have always hoped that people would find joy and happiness. Thank you to the Walk of Fame committee and to my hometown of Hollywood for this honor. I am truly thankful.
